action; neighborhood

[Waking up in a strange new place is usually kind of a jarring experience. But waking up feeling perfectly healthy, in a house with a fake family? Obviously this must be a dream! It's not a very good one if there's a fake dad in it, but hey. Dream. What can you do?

Obviously the answer to that is Explore, so anyone outside may see a little girl poking in their bushes, staring at their houses/cars/whatever, or possibly running out onto the road. Is that dangerous? Who knows.]

phone;

[Eventually she returns home and discovers the phone, to which she will say:]

Hey, hey, I heard voices in here! Is somebody in there? You must be really tiny if you are. I know I can't fit in this thing. [A pause.] You can hear me, right? It'd be kinda embarrassing if it turns out I'm talking to nobody.

There's nobody in the phones. But there are people at the other end!

Wow, really? Where are you then? Are you really far away?

Hmm... probably at least a few houses away.

Oh! So you're still in town. Did you know, this town is really huge! I went outside earlier and there were houses for miles!

Yeah, everybody you talk to's stuck in this town.

[ ... ] It's pretty decent sized, I guess? I've been to bigger cities before, though.

Stuck? Did the town kidnap everybody?

...You mean there's places even bigger than this?

Pretty much. You can't leave this town, apparently it just loops back around.

Yeah, like, Tokyo? Tokyo's huge. Not only is it bigger, but all the buildings are a lot taller.

So it's a magic town? I've never heard of that before.

Tokyo? Oh, are the buildings as tall as that old shrine I went to? That place was huuuuge!

A magic town... I guess so, yeah!

Some of the buildings are as big as, like, a hundred shrines on top of each other.

Oh wow, that's crazy! How d'you even make places that huge? You'd probably need a really tall ladder or something!

They have machines and stuff that can do it.

Machines? Oh, my dad told me about a place full of machines once! It sounded really dangerous. If they helped you with stuff I bet they'd be really useful though.

Well, machines can be pretty dangerous, if you're not careful... but they're supposed to be useful, yeah.

Are there a lot of machines in Tokyo? I don't think there's any in the village.

Yep! There's also a bunch here, too.
